"lost pond"

Last weekend, we joined a friend and did the hike to "lost pond". For the most part, the hike is coastal and pretty easy. If you go at high tide (which we did) you have to use the path thru the jungle for some areas to avoid walking in deeper water. After about an hour of so, we arrived at a great private beach with beautiful water and views. At that point, the trail turns in from the coast to lead you to the actual pond. Pictures we had seen of the pond showed a great natural swimming hole. Quin and I didn't join the guys for this portion- we decided to take a break for a snack on the beach. This was definitely the right choice- as what the guys found was more of a mosquito infested puddle than anything you would ever consider swimming in! We spent some time at the beach so the guys (and Sage) went for a swim before hiking out. Guam is definitely a beautiful island- especially off the beaten path!
