can't design a website? try blogging...

OK...so to those of you that know the story, this may seem like a cop-out (Ryan included). But, for anyone who doesn't know, here it goes...

about a year ago, we got the offer from Webcor to make the move to Guam. Knowing that 2011 was going to be a big year for us (a new baby, me staying home to care for baby, and moving to a tiny island in the middle of no place) we had the great idea to purchase a domain name and start a website to document all these changes. In theory, it was an awesome idea. And for those of you that know how we feel about facebook, this was to be our attempt at staying connected with out participating in the traditional forms of social media. But I couldn't do it- I just didn't have the patients or the time. (story for another day)

So- thanks to the inspiration and having become hooked on the blog of a friend and fellow new mom living here on Guam, I have decided to give it a try. To be fair, it was also due to the fact that I was feeling a little odd about sending out photos of all the random stuff we are doing here to friends and family when they probably could care less about our weekend adventures. Let's face it guys- if we were still living in CA, I would not be sending you photos of the beach day we just had.

This way you can decide how often to check in on us. :) It'll be a great way to document Quin growing up (it's happening so fast!) and to keep in touch with our friends and family back in Ohio and California- with out me overwhelming your inbox!
